We got 3 new alloys for the car at the start of the week so today i whipped them all off to clean and coat them in polish, found this attached to the inside rim of the one that is oe to the car, looks like a wheel weight without the weight! never noticed anything like this on previous Honda wheels before. Any ideas.

I also noticed that this wheel although it has no corrosion on the face it's starting to bubble on the inside, typical, I didn't look there when I complained about the others, that's a job for next time I'm passing the dealers

 

Must be a weight, cant see it being anything else. I prefer the stick on types to these as they are bound to cause peeling as they are hammered in place

 

Yes its a bracket for a wheel weight, as it looks like the weight has fell off.

 

I thought it had to be a weight but it has a the normal stick on weights elsewhere on the rim, surely even Honda isn't mixing types are they.?

 

Its just a small wheel weight. I had some of these fitted on the original wheels when I bought the car new.
