Default Adhesive or clip wheel balance weight?

Hi, I'm a new owner of a 2003 s2000 the first thing I did was replaced the worn tires with Fuzion ZRi ordered from the tire rack and had them installed at a local tire shop. They balanced the wheels with clip weights, will this cause uneven wear due to the placement of the weights, which are clipped on the inner rim of the wheel?. Should I have rebalanced with adhesive weights?

Thanks

do the clip on weights on the inner rim and sticky weights on the outter rim of the wheel.

The clip on weights will scratch the wheels. We only use stick on weights on the back side of the wheel. Nothing out on the face of the wheel.

OEM wheels use clip on weights on the inner edge and stick on weights on the inside. You can't put a clip on weight on the outer edge of a OEM wheel.
