There was a (long) 27K mile service thread a few weeks ago.

I think I paid a bit less than that but I did provide my own oil.

Where are you getting the quote from Douglas? St. Andrews in Glasgow seem to be the cheapest at the moment, while still getting good reviews.

Don't recall hearing of any cars getting the A/C recharged unles there was damage.

douglasr- sounds about right for the third year service. The air con should be OK, it either works or it don't work - its a bit young to need recharging, get the pollen filters changed though - good idea.

Never did undestand the concept of a pollen filter on an open topped car.
