Got to be a Civic Type R - will still give you most of the S2k driving experience

you might want to first move to C.London and then decide.. also the insurance on any 'nice' car in CL is considerably higher.. almost a joke for some cars!

have u considered a bike? i used to use an old bsa to nip around in the city... and that was before congestion charges etc

if your going to go for an Alfa you need to be prepared for bits to fall off periodically! - The build quality across the range is generally shite. You will struggle to find an Alfa review where it gets more than 3 stars for reliability.

The build quality of the S is good and the engine is bulletproof - switching to an Alfa is not a wise move (in my opinion)

Personally I would look at something from the VAG group (Bentley, Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda), maybe not Bentley or Skoda! But if I ever sell my S this would be my first 'port of call' to find a reliable car.
