Default what to replace the S2000 with?

I've got my S2000 up for sale as it's causing me back problems.

So I need to replace it with something that is not quite so low to get and out of.

Any ideas??? Must be entertaining to drive , I want it to seat 4, but apart from that and wanting to spend less than

Had a look at the Seat, they now have a 2.0 sport , which has the same engine as the golf gti , but detuned to 185 bhp, it's cheap and you can chip it up to 235bhp.

Any one drive one in anger yet?

OR

Should I go to the dark side and all that tdi torque

Mk V Golf GTi...a couple of people (whose judgement I trust) have told me recently how fun they are...one used to own an S2k (Matt555).

Focus ST perhaps, but when I passengered in one it felt TOO quick for B-roads, if you know what I mean - not just license-losing speeds, but life-losing speeds.

Used STi v7/v8, ideally with PPP. Hell, a WRX with PPP might be man enough. Probably the same can be said about B-road speed though.

Clio Trophy, if big enough?

Import S15? Individual, great looks, still rear-drive.

325/330i/Ci definitely worth a look...may be a bit pricey though.

Wouldn't get a CTR now as replacement is imminent and they'll take a residuals hit in about 12 months.
Ditto DC5 - on stock suspension it felt really unhappy on lumpy B-roads, so I'd be cautious.

Im biased but a UK spec scoob is rather comfy, and the Recaro's have great lumbar support.

Apart from that I do like the look of the Fabia VRs! Imagine its a bit wobbly for some reason?

You could get a very nice E36 M3 for
