Having spent nearly two hours now butchering off the last of the ECU bolts (the special tool Lower made worked perfectly for two ) I need to know what size the ECU bolts are so I can get some hex ones to replace the originals. Does anyone know the size of these b*#$

Why couldn't you get the last bolt off?

 

The one at the top was completely seized. Not even an impact driver with a slotted head dremelled in would remove it I'm currently in the process of drilling it out. It's marked the tool quite badly too unfortunately but it still fits ok as long as the bolt head is all the way in.

 

Don't worry about the tool.

I made a total of 3 so there should be enough in circulation for future ecu removals.

 

Sometimes this car is a real nightmare! Fortunately the bolt only retains the bracket which Honda appears to have designed for the sole purpose of making me go bald in one afternoon! At least it's sacrificial. I'm going to take the drill to it now...
