Hi Huys..decatting my s2k, been delayed a week or so by the exhaust shop so im buying me a decat pipe in the mean time. Im going for a single exhaust conversion, 2.75", looking for a decat pipe but most of them seem to have a smaller inlet bore and outlet bore? does this matter or do i need one that will match the 2.75"??

 

You need the inlet bore to match the Exhaust manifold

 

what is the exhaust manifold outlet size??

 

Just looked at the oem exhaust manifold and it has an ID of about 54mm.

Amazing what you can find in the kitchen.

 

Surely the custom exhaust company should have an idea about this? - unless they are some 'powerflow' type outfit.

I fear your exhaust will be loud/boomy and drone - hopefully not though, most exhaust sounds awesome on vtec but a royal PITA in anything but vtec .
