Hi guys was just interested to see what would quieten an exhaust more an oem cat or a silenced de-cat like a DMS one.

I would tend to think the silenced decat would have a greater impact.
I'm going down the quieter exhaust route myself. I'm going to get a custom 70mm twin loop system made like the one Mattie on here made.

Haha yep I know its a bit of a funny one, Its a bit of both static and driving noise. i have a single exit straight through system and have been running the cat but was curious to if a silenced de-cat would make any difference as I don't want to fit a silencer.

I'm in the same situation.

Got an exhaust I like it's just too loud now the SC has been fitted.

I think I'm going to swop my decat for one of Dixon's silencers.
