Doh!.... I've had mine 15 months, RTFM twice, and this is still new to me

How do you switch it back to the setting you had before you "cancelled"?

Pete

One press, brighter .....

Yep, James; that's what I suspected. You have to go back to.... "Dimmer, dimmer..... go on... bit more, bit more.... no too much, brighter.... that's it" ??

Pete, I tried this last night - press and hold the "+" button to override the dim so the lights are bright (we know that so far!), to put it back hold the "-" button for a couple of seconds and it goes back to normal dim.

I think all this is documented in the manual but I seem to remember getting very confused by what it was telling me!

- Frisky.

Well I learned something with this thread too. Been playing with it this morning! With lights on, if you press the + button you get a bright display the same as when you have no lights on. You have to press it and hold it. The same to revert to dim lights, but you have to press the - button.

If you've set the bright option with the lights on, the display is set back to dim as soon as you switch the lights off. With the lights off, pressing the buttons has an incremental effect on the brightness of the display.

Pretty cool!

I'm going to have to go out and look at this! If the lights are off, how can you see any incremental difference in the display
