Default Whats this button for....

On the dash (I have 02 model but I presume this is the same) the two buttons on the left hand side.....I know that pressing one of them changes the brightness of the display but underneath it is a line that points to a small picture of a speedo and it says 'hold to cancel' or just 'cancel'.

What does this button do !!!!

Is that the one that changes the speedo read-out from mph to kph? Can't visualise it right at the moment.

No - that is on the right hand side. That also resets the trip.

These are on the left hand side.............

Nah! That's on the right and labelled "SEL".

I have been puzzled by the "hold to cancel" button too - it is the right hand of the two brightness buttons (+ & -) not sure which way around they are!

I think that's the button to reset the maint. required light. There's a faq in the library that describes the process.

Doh! 10 days without my car and I'm already forgetting what the dash display looks like!

That "cancel" button is to un-dim the dash when you have the headlights on. Very useful for being able to see the dash and have your headlights on during the day. Just hold the button down when your headlights are on to see what happens.

1st thing I do when I switch on the lights is hold down that button. Dash lights up like a Christmas tree.
