Wheel alignment

Default Wheel alignment

Hi Guys

I need some help!!!

My 04 front tyres are wearing on the inside. I am getting them replaced this weekend and have booked it in Horizon Honda to the alignment after a couple of days. They have quoted

Honda will put your alignment in "tolerance"

Chris will optimise it for you instead.

The tyres will always wear on the insides due to the camber

I suspect at that price your dealer is quoting just to check the alignment, not to actually do any work to rectify it if it is found to be out of tolerance.

The reason most people tend to prefer using Chris Franklin/Center Gravity is that (a) he has kit that is regularly calibrated (rather than once or twice a year, as dealers apparently tend to do), (b) he actually knows what is doing (!) - something which can't be taken for granted with dealers and

BTW all years tend to weat the inside edge of front (& rear!) due to the camber settings Honda recommend.

Have spoken to Chris really helpfull (as you said) i am going to try and organise a wheel alignment now.
