Thumbs up Wheel Bearing Question

Hello everyone

Just a quick question, I have a squeak/squeal coming from my rear wheel hub. I think it's emanating from the wheel bearing I was wondering if it's possible to re-grease them? I've changed wheel bearings before and seem to remember that they can be greased at installation but removal to re-grease is not possible. It started at Bedford (29th April) and I'm sure it's not the breaks (I changed the rear disks and pads last weekend).

If I need to get a new bearing fitted at the stealers does anyone know how much that will cost?

i had a rear squeek coming from both wheels on rotation, it turned out to be the spindle (HUB) nuts which need re-greasing and re-torquing back at 220lbs. The squeeks have now gone

If the bearing has gone you might have to replace the hub as well.

OEM Wheel Bearing
SKU: OEM-44300-S47-008

Rear Hub
SKU: OEM-42210-S2A-000

Total cost

FunBox, did you get this done in the end? If so how much did the fitting cost?

Having been through the brakes thing, mine's at the dealers now and I'm pretty sure it's going to be the bearing.
