Default wheel buying websites

I have been looking for wheels in the usual places *ebay, wheel sanctuary, this forum, US forum) but still cant find anything i like/can afford.

I would like something in 17" and staggered so 8" and 9" probably about ET45.

most places either don't stock these or they are a crazy price, where do you guys hunt down wheels?

I dont mind buying from the US if they can give me a idea of tax costs ect.

and i would like something like:
Works S1
Enkei RPF1

www.lsdmotorsports.com

17x9 et45 all round 1040 shipped via ups when I enquired.

I'd go 17x9 all round as they have the concave faces

the meister s1 you're looking 2.5k ish!

Try Eight Speed or Co-Ord Sport.

You could go for the Rays G07WT with a 45 front.

Good wheels cost on this car though...

tell me about it, i was just saying today that anything for the s2000 seems to be 4x the price of what it was on my last car.

r8byb....give me your alloys

how difficult would 17x9 be to fit on the fronts? I have found some second hand RPF1's im inquiring about.

Was hoping to spend around £600 on a set already in the UK, but might have to save and stretch the budget.

What sizes have you found in the UK.

Fitting 17x9 on the front in et45 with a 235/40 tyre will be ok if you're running -2 ish camber

Yup, I think you have to be careful not to buy cheap and end up with something worse than OEM 17s tbh...

I'd get some pics of people running that size first. I'd suspect rubbing issues. Different people have different ideas on what is right and wrong on the S2000!

I've done plently of research.

It's a popular track choice in the states in that exact size with a 245 tyre.

I have a set of OEM 17" tires i would like to use on what i order too, so i can save some ££ that way.

the car needs to stay practical for daily driving and fun driving, so don't want to go too mad.

17x8/9 looked good on what pics i have seen/ and looks usable.

R8, they are in the US but a good price, im hoping to use a contact to save on import tax and shipping though.
