Wheel refurb
I think you are possibly correct, I have been thinking about satin black for the past couple of hours !! I will
over the weekend....hopefully I will finish the wheel centres and get a better feel about it once they are on.

I like the look of that, nice and new.
A coat of Gtechniq C5 properly applied ( inside and out ) will make cleaning a doddle

Thanks for the info ! I'll have some of that!
will it be okay on powdercoat do you know?
Oh yes
If properly prepped and applied C5 will stop brakedust and tar sticking to your wheel's
Since I started using it a couple of year's ago all my wheel's have ever needed is a rinse with the pressure washer and a quick wash with normal shampoo

You'll do a great job on the first, get a bit bored on the second and never quite get around to the other two
I have seen some good cover up jobs that involved masking the tyre, giving the rim a light scrub to key it up and remove flaky lacquer, then using rattle-can spray.
But when you start sanding down, priming and trying to get a "professional finish" it starts being a diminishing returns on effort and materials.

OK
i've learnt
- this is very trying on the fingers, mine feel like sandpaper now (i normally work in an office)
- my garage is dusty
- masking tape doesnt stick to the tyres (or the shit i have doesnt)
- i prefer the oem 16s in black
