Default Wheel refurb recommendations

Hi All,

Does anyone have any recommendations for wheel refurbishment in the south east, specifically around Sussex or Surrey? I'm looking to get my 16" OEM wheels done. Seen some mobile options - anyone have experience with these?

Thanks in advance!

Lepsons - they are in Gillingham but they will pick up from a local trade customer who can order on your behalf. I took mine in direct, turned around in 3 days and look great.

cost is £308 + VAT including taking the tyres off and balancing when refitted (it's £260 if you supply bare wheels).

They chemically strip them back to bare metal, wash, bake, powder coat, cure in oven then spray paint and lacquer.

Just don't go for the mobile options, wheels need chemical striping and paint and lacquer needs baking on, you can't do that from the back of a van.

I used these guys in Guildford
Alloy Care Centre | Alloy Wheel Repair in Guildford

once to powder coat my 16" rims and more recently to repair scuffs on the 17". Was more than happy with the results of both

I've used Wheel Works in Crawley a number of times and they are very good indeed:

I'll be interested to know how they come out! What are you having done? I used to live in Henfield - didn't know there was a place in Small Dole! Presumably in that industrial estate?

Yea on the industrial estate. They seem really pleasant and very!!! busy.

I’m going satin black on oem facelift v1 wheels. Got moonrock, wanted something different. Hope it works, people have gone gloss but feel it overpowers the rest.
