Default Wheel studs

Can the studs be replaced on these cars or is it a case of buying a new hub? I've just bought some RAYS wheel nuts and i've managed to ruin one of them on a dodgy cross threaded wheel stud (was not crossed by me)

Thanks,
Mark

Yes the studs can be replaced, I've seen your other post with pictures and I'm guessing its a front one?

IIRC for the front your going to have to pull the hub and bearing, then you can hammer out the old stud and knock in a new one, they are on a spline.

You should stick a new bearing on mind.

I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong........

Cheers dude, yeah, it's the front one i've had to stick an old steel one on for now. Just seing if the RAYS nut is salvageable as it's only the first 4-5 threads that are damaged inside...

Thanks,
Mark

Could you get away with running a die down the stud to try and salvage it?
