I don't mind you questioning my choice, it's just that your sentence didn't make any sense. It looks like you missed a word out, or didn't finish the sentence.

PS. Note the at the end of my original post. I wasn't being entirely serious, knowing full well that I have the JDM BBS wheels on my car.

PPS Those Volks are nicer (IMO) than anything else (except the JDM BBS ) in this thread.

But they are *very* expensive, and hard to get hold of.

What is the best wheel for the S?

I guess it depends on what you determine the best . BBS LM's and MF10's are arguably the best looking, but CE28N and Buddyclub QF's are the lightest wheels you can get in S2000 specific offsets.

Form over function or function over form? Function has its own beauty so some will argue that the lighter wheel is the better looking wheel.

What about 6UL's. Those wheels have some crazy offsets and can accommodate tyres upto 275 rears, 265 on the fronts. If you track your car the more rubber you can put down the faster your lap times - apparently - so some will view 6UL's as the best wheels for the S.

JDM BBS are regarded as the best for competition purposes as they are a stock wheel with stock offsets. In competitions where you are limited to stock wares the JDM wheel is unsurpassed. If this is not an issue 16" CE28N's are 3lbs a corner lighter.

I've had a fair few wheels in my time and rate Regamaster EVO's as the best looking wheel. Some may disagree with my choice

The CE28Ns are half an inch wider on the rears than the MF-10s so by the time you add in the bigger tyre they weigh more or less the same IIRC.

Exactly how light are the JDM BBS alloys and the CE28's? My Volks are pretty light (6.5kg)

13.3lbs and 14.3lbs

I had a set of Racing Hart CP-035 in 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 guise that were 14.4 and 14.6lbs.

Yours at 14.3lbs (fronts I'm guessing) are also very light.

The MF10's are a spin off of the CE28N's. The webbed section in the middle is the difference in weight terms it seems as Rays make both wheels.

Surely that depends on the spec of the ce28n's?

Surely a clever guy like you can make that sentence out? Rather than trying to make him look stupid by saying you don't understand his wording when I'm sure you do.

Even just from Reading "larf" it's pretty obvious to know what he means.
