Surely that depends on the spec of the ce28n's?
As far as I am aware only the 17x9" has an offset suitable for the rear (though some chavs may disagree).

I think tyre weights are a bigger issue when you step up in wheel diameter.

Heavy things...

Surely a clever guy like you can make that sentence out? Rather than trying to make him look stupid by saying you don't understand his wording when I'm sure you do.

Even just from Reading "larf" it's pretty obvious to know what he means.
I'm sure that most of us can understand what he's posted. However, being able to understand it and wanting to read it are two different things.

Simon's post is all about maintaining standards and preventing the inevitable descent into 'txtspk' and other illegible posting styles that are common and probably accepted on other forums you frequent.

You know that, you're fighting a losing battle on this forum, so put up or shut up.

Who's just from Reading? Are you saying that people just from Reading are more stupid, so if even they can work it out the rest of us that live a bit further away from Reading should have no problem?

Is this thread going a bit too off topic yet?

A losing battle

Look at the bigger picture.

And just to elaborate, do you know how many people visit this forum and think it's full of condecending snobby "adults"...

It doesn't hurt anyone to be welcoming rather than portraying yourselves like a nazi hate regime against someone who doesn't type in a perfect way or follow the crowd.

I'm sure many people believe lower profile tyres are if anything lighter, but unfortunately it's the other way round. Having gone from 16" JDM BBS wheels to OEM 17s myself, I prefer the 17s. I know the 16s are lighter I think you gain more from the feel of lower profile tyres on 17s.
