yeah had the same problem, you don't get the deep look with the 8 inch wheel, but I couldn't be bothered getting arch work done.

Problem with the S2000 is that there isn't much of a choice for nice wheels, KEI Racing do some nice ones, but I had a set on my TT so fancied going for something by Rota this time round
yeah I know what you mean, seems in the States that there is an abundunce of wheel types... I did at one point thinkg about going down the RPF Enkei Alloy wheels as they were kind of high market without being Rays prices... such a nice wheel, but just didn't sell me like the CE28s

A problem you say? I think this is a positive thing as the OEM look the best!

I have not seen ANY aftermarket alloys that look better than any OEM, pre 04 16's included.

I think Honda are trying to tell the modders to leave well alone.

As for the OP, get the OEM wheels on there sharpish, change colour if you want to be different.

Take a look at Jonnybravo's.....they look tops!

personally I prefer the 16" ones like in my sig over the newer age wheels, but the bodywork/headlight improvements are superior in the next phase of the s2k.

I have been a fan of OEM wheels as most manufacturers have good designs (previous car I didn't change from OEM even though everyone else said I should) but I think you can't go wrong with some of the Rays, Enkei etc... just not Rotas!! god no!!

Here you go, pre-face lift on 2007 alloys, allbeit powder coated black then diamond cut. IMO the best mod you can do for a pre 2004 car.

EDIT - I meant 17" alloys are the best mod, not the finish. I know it's not to everyones taste.

I recently went from black 18" wheels with a red lip to 16" oems. They are sprayed black with nice new centre caps. Think they look great (see pics) alot of people love them and I don't think they look bad or too small for this car.

I agree that a 17" upgrade is def needed, hence why I went the next size up from my 16's

Still undecided on the 18" wheel though, sometimes it looks fantastic and sometimes it doesn't, depends on the car/wheel combo i suppose...

unless going for a BBK, 18's look all wrong. Whilst the standard brakes on the car are adequate, if you have a big rim, you need a big brake behind it. There is nothing worse than a chav savo with monster rims and yellow painted drum brake behind....

The wheel / brake set-up ratio is very important IMO
