Default Wheels, help me decide

I really like the 2007 oem wheels but I can't decide whether or not I should make the change from my jdm bbs wheels. Does anyone have a pic of a pre facelift with these wheels? Do they come up for sale often?

I'd go for the OEM wheels. From photographs I think the 04/05 wheels looked better, but once I'd seen the 06/07 wheels 'in the flesh' I much prefered them. Not at all keen on the run-out model wheels though.

Just received my 18 inch rota GTR's, will be putting them on Saturday, will post some before and after pics. I'm in two minds as to whether I am going to like how they look! Could be a very costly mistake

What's the wheel spec?

I didn't think they did them in a suitable size and offset?

Is the car on coilovers?

Car not currently lowered I am afraid! Not gotten round to it yet.

Wheels are 18x8 inch all round. I appreciate that this means there is no stagger, they weren't able to offer the wheels in a staggered fitment. I asked for staggered tyres instead, so apparently they are

215/40/18 front and 235/35/18

I know that's not ideal, but it was the best they could do

yeah I was thinking about going for a set of those but couldn't seem to get the right offset to make the wheel look deep... some s2ks have done it but have gone for very wide wheels and had to do arch work + over fenders etc.

Rota fighters 17" fur mich

yeah had the same problem, you don't get the deep look with the 8 inch wheel, but I couldn't be bothered getting arch work done.

Problem with the S2000 is that there isn't much of a choice for nice wheels, KEI Racing do some nice ones, but I had a set on my TT so fancied going for something by Rota this time round
