Default When will this winter end

Still snowing on and off today, still salting the roads. No end in sight. My S2000 has almost be hibernated for 6 months this winter and it's normally 4.

Give it another couple of weeks and it won't be worth me buying tax for April either.

Very poor.

The now expired MOT (which normally gives me a chance to get the car out and give it a run before MOTing) make sthings more difficult too.

Tell me about it Neil, the best summer I can remember was the summer after I bought the damn car way back in 2006!

I know!

During yesterday I jacked up my black car to jet wash the chassis. Nice and clean then I encountered the gritter and snow storms

I decided to remove the hardtop again at the weekend (3rd time this winter !!) and enticed the MRS into joining me on a blast around North Yorks.
Spent most of the afternoon around a log fire in a country pub though.
Getting extremely p*ssed off with this weather.

Looks like we'll miss Spring altogether this year and go straight into Summer ..... I HOPE

Well, here on the balmy west coast we have had sunshine all day,yet again, yesterday, no rain AT ALL and definitely no snow. This last week has been the sunniest of all but we have had no rain to speak of for six weeks or more, even the drainage ditches are dry to the bottom...discussion on a hosepipe ban?

Been out over the weekend with the top down and once again yesterday for MORE fuel..........also spent the Sunday morning riding the m/bike around the Fylde and upto Lancaster.....no rain !

Today the sun has just peaked through the clouds but the wind has increased slightly.........just about to get the S2K out AGAIN..... Need to wash the DRY, grey dust off the car......

You need to move areas!

But the spring normally is our summer these days, with Apr/May being the best months over the last 5 years or so.

I could cope with the cold, if they'd stop sending the gritters out, but the roads near mine are permanently white with salt at the moment.

Yes, quite agree, Summer has been coming earlier !
Can't believe they are still salting the roads though, with full sunshine everyday for quite a while we have had some hard frosts but the council have laid off lobbing salt everywhere....probably because it is so dry and therefore no chance of slippy roads.....

It's OK mine is still on axle stands, only one more wishbone and a toe arm to chop out - but this rubbish weather means I'm not missing perfect driving days I have tried to kick off my wakeboarding season, been in the lake twice so far, 6°C with an Easterly wind chill certainly takes some of the fun out of it !

Milton Keynes has been warm for the last 3-4 days! Sun hasn't been beaming but there's no chill.

I've owned a convertible roadster most of my driving life.

Recently, I've began to wonder why exactly.
