Is this a recommended job to do to the car from new or should it be done from a year old on a yearly basis?
Would rather get in and start keeping the roof in good nick from the start but not sure if this is overkill.

Splendid. Ordering now! Another job for the weekend!
Got my Samuarai polish and replacement Swissol car bath through today with a shedload of micro fibre cloths.

No harm in starting early so to speak. It's not like a "back to black" product, it's just a cleaner and conditioner. I try and make a point of using it once every couple of months
No harm at all getting started early. When I first applied after about three months (maybe four) of ownership, the top definitely looked a lot nicer. I've applied three times now. Primarily because of egging last week.
And to answer the question raised by FastPat17, the S2000 has a vinyl roof. It doesn't look like it, but it is! People have swapped for mohair when getting the roof replaced however.
