Still in a state of shock..........

Yep its hard to believe!....... why bother with a soft-top if you never take the lid off? There are a matching pair (owned by husband and wife) of BMW Z3s in my road that BOTH have their hard tops on still!...... I was going to take a picture to post on here to give everyone a laugh!

I have noticed a few convertible types (Including an S) with hardtops on in station car parks..... I assumed it was to prevent the local wildlife ripping the top...

Just a few thoughts....

The hard top can provide protection from the sun if your not used to heat like we're experiencing at the moment.....

The air con doesn't work with the top down....

The hard top makes the car look cool.

My aircon works with the roof down. I just aim it at my feet, full blast

There is a airflow setting intended for top-down air-con use. It's the one which blows out above the radio. I use the air-con top-down, but normally turn it off fairly soon, as I don't like the feel of the compressor turning on and off while cornering.
