I've not bought another S2K so not 100% in keeping this with this thread. However this is my first S2K and second Honda after an FN2 Type R. I think if mine was lost, stolen or written off I'd go for another one. However ask me in 2-3 years and I will most likely say no.

At the moment there is no other car like the S2K. The Z4 and Boxster are too common. The S2K still provides appealing perforamance, looks and quality plus I don't need more than 2 seats just yet. For a car thats 10 years old its suprising the number of looks and questions I get asked about it. There's still plenty of life in the car as theres so many mods and it's not yet become boyracered like the Skyline etc.

I think this applies to those who have purchased more than one.

Easy

Because some scally nicked my last one, after only 4 months. I really loved the car so decided I needed another one - a no brainer really.

I bought the 2nd because I wanted a newer one.

I ended up with a nice example with OEM spats, high rise spoiler and lip

She's just been sold

I Didnt but i wish i could.

Just about to finish my 3yrs with the car. Absolutely love the thing and wish it didnt have to go. Just been out with the top down.

I was stuck with the choice for my next car and could not find anything quite like the S.

Problems
Need to lower tax (company car)
Car needed to be new
A boot required
Reasonablely high mileage.

Nearly ordered a 123d but ended up with a TT. Please dont laugh.
