I let Trisha drive................sometimes. But not voluntarily - it takes her a bit of nagging.

"Whoops, hello dear"

It's a funny old world isn't it?

I was just driving into London today on the M4/A4 and I saw 2 blacks comin out of town and one silver going in.

I looked at the Silver driver and it was an attractive woman. The car was gleaming. A W reg car.

I thought to myslef about posting a new thread about women drivers of the S2000 and my reactions to them.

Whenever I see a woman who has an S2000 I feel really pleased. It is strange I actually like this sight more than if I see a man driving one.

I like to think that this woman is a girl with a sense of style and adventure who likes and appreciates fast cars. Instead of all those hundreds of thousands of women who drive sensible, smal cars, and who grip the wheel like they are in a bear hug.

Now I know that sounds very mysoginst (I'm not as a rule and I cannot even spell it!) but it is true.

Take a look at how many women are hunched over their supermini gripping the wheel. It is almost as many as there are men who sit to close to their wheel and end up feeling the need to perch their elbow on the window.

When I see a woman driving the S2000 it makes me feel good.

Sam.

Careful Simon.... you'll be getting the hots for this mystery woman

I must say it says a lot about a woman who would choose this car Makes a change from all the ladies I see in Z3's... not that they don't look great in them as well

I can't stand people who drive along with their elbow sticking out of the window. I think it's supposed to show the driver's air of confidence It just looks damned sloppy and... scruffy!

Cedric,
You are right they do look scruffy. I hate it too. However, I have recently had a bad back and have worked out that this reaction is a natural one when they are sitting too close to the wheel.
Test it out.
Honest.

Sam.
