I won some Major Havoc headrest blockers at SM2.
At the time, I wasn't sure how much difference they made, but when my car went away, I forgot to take them out.
Now I don't have them in the new car - I notice the difference (cold ears).

Is it possible to change the MY02 standard aeroscreen then?
Link already posted!.

Headrests are very nice!. You can get them from other places as well so it boils down to personal preference. I had mine embroidered with "S2000" in silver and love em!.

Yes.......you can replace the stock aeroscreen with Rick's one. You actually only replace the clear perspex piece.........you keep and use the black hinge mechanism. Reasonably easy to install. Two sizes.......full height and 7/8's. Personally think the full height one is better as it is the same height as the rollbars and gives that whole area a nice line. Also had "S2000" laser engraved on it which looks fab!. Only thing you need to consider is that, with Rick's aeroscreen, you need to fix anti-vibration bumpers to the rollbars to stop it vibrating at speed. This involves gluing small transparent "domes" to each rollbar.

If someone can tell me how to post piccies then I can show you as I have a couple of shots of these.

Ta,

Neil

Neil you won't be able to post piccies unless you cough up the entirely reasonable sum to be a member. In the meantime I'll pm you my email address and you can send me the pic - I'll post it up tonight/tomorrow.

I'm interested in your 'dome' idea - I was going to slit a length of small bore tubing lengthwise and slip the tube onto each edge of the screen to dampen vibrations. I've just placed an order for a full-height screen so I'll let you know how that goes when I get round to fitting it on.

Time for me to get my butt into gear and get membership I guess!.

I'll e:mail you the piccies separately as per your pm.

The "domes" were actually provided by Rick (they are his recommended fix for vibration) but if you can work something else out then great!.

Let me know if you have any questions etc. when you come to installing your screen!.

Neil

I have been thinking about the headrests because I don't sit right back in the seat, and there seems to be quite a big gap between the back of my head and the seats (whiplash worry) - the headrests would seem to reduce the distance, as well as looking great - would getting the headrests make a big difference?

Here are Neil's pics. Looks like the domes are just stuck on to the side of the roll hoops. IMHO not v. elegant but they look like they'll do the job. Comment from Neil?

Anybody else got any other solutions?
