FWIW I recently took mine apart as they were getting weak and found an amazing amount of crud behind the one way valves and washer jets.
Had to coax it out with a pin and water until clear.
I had to read adjust the jets after as the water went straight over the roof.

Like most peoples then

I have been following people and then thought it was beginning to rain only to find out the person in front is trying to wash their screen but all the waters flying straight over the top of their cars

I just don't wash windows at 90, . it just lands lower down the screen as you go quicker, like all jets etc you need to adjust high up the screen when stationery to compensate.

That's the reason why the S has strong manly streams rather than wishy washy sprays.
