Windscreen misting up!!!

You need to use it once a week or so anyway to keep the seals in good shape, so might as well do it all at the same time eh?

I find the problem with using the aircon is that although it provides instant demisting, as soon as you switch it off when the windscreen's clear, the moisture that it's extracted which collects in the aircon condensor starts to evaporate and works its way back to the screen after a few minutes.

Sorry, end of day silliness - on a more normal note which seals do you mean? around the windscreen or elsewhere as well?

too! It's one of those vicious circle situations. It seems to me that if you use the aircon to de-mist, it helps the screen fog up again when it goes off. If you want to stop the screen from misting, without using the aircon, you have to avoid using it at all - no quick a/c blast to get it started.I think having a less than sparkling screen doesn't help misting either (that won't apply to anyone here of course
)On the other hand, I have 237bhp at my disposal - I reckon I can give up 3 in order to see which way I'm going.
Here's a potential mod for the tech minded - how about a WOT switch to disable the aircon? If you don't know the WOT acronym, don't try this

Ok WOT = Wide Open Throttle
I've often thought a Nitrous Oxide Timer actuated by a WOT switch would be great - Wot's that? That's my WOT NOT
.... I'll get me coat
