Default Windscreen wiper blades

Hi all,

The time has come to buy a new set, it seems the windscreen fitter left some glue/residue on my drivers side wiper which has rendered it useless, the rubber has perished.

So, which ones do you suggest going for?

Rain-x? [which I can't find online]
Goodyear?
Bosch? [these seem quite bulky?]
Norvac?
Valeo?

Despite needing one wiper, I'll probably get the pair, for aesthetics more than anything.

Any preferred retailers out there?
Recommended wiper blades, and ones to avoid - very welcomed

I bought Honda ones as they were about 20quid. Seem to work ok.

I need to investigate this rain-X stuff? Does it get on to your paintwork?

I can recommend the Universal Retrofit Flat AeroBlade from wiperblades.co.uk I bought two 20" blades, but a 20" for the drivers side and an 18" for the passenger side would be better. My order came to £16.15 delivered and I would definitely use them again.

Well, Rain-X stuff as I know is fluid, rain repellent stuff. However they make wiper blades too : http://www.rainx.co.uk/wipers.php

Perhaps there is something better on the market by now but I fitted these in October 2007 and they are still performing well. (18" + 20" Bosch Aerotwins)

Thanks for that

I assume you mean these ones:

Wiper Blades WB5-20 & WB5-16 Twin Pack
http://www.wiperblad...lade-twin-pack/

£12.15 + 2.45p&p - doesn't seem bad at all.
Just didn't know whether 'Wiper Blades' was a reputable manufacturer.

They'll fit, but an 18" for the passenger side would be better.

..ah okay, I've just realised that 'twin packs' for the S2000 are always listed as a 20" and 16" combo, not 20" and 18".

For instance, the AR502S Bosch Aerotwins GavB listed above [thanks for that, and the pic - exactly what I was looking for ] can be found here:
http://www.wiperblad...-500-450mm.html

But listed for only the following models:

HONDA
Civic Coupe 01/94-04/00
Civic CRX MK4 03/92-12/98
Civic Fastback MK4 09/94-01/97

Though I'm pretty sure they all use the same fitment anyway...
