Hi the s2k is going in for it's MOT next week and I need to change the wing indicator bulbs as the previous owner fitted clear lens and clear bulbs... Failure

I'll be honest I'm being a bit lazy here... I can't be bothered to take the arch liner off to fInd out the bulb type, only to put it all back just to drive the car to buy the bulbs... I'm guess you acces them by taking the arch liner out or at least loose enough to get behind it. Can anyone recommend a set of bulbs?

Do you mean the ones next to the S2000 badges? They just pop out if you slide something narrow (a credit card, for instance) behind them from the rear and push the clip in. Never seen one with clear bulbs as well as a clear lens though. Very odd. I have some clear ones with orange bulbs than I salvaged from my write-off, but one of the clips has snapped. You can have them FOC if you can fix the clip, which I think some folk have done on here before. PM me if interested.

little sliding clip. my ones have an indent on the side of the repeater to indicate which side the slider is on.

I am using Silvatec bulbs, which are silver but flash orange. The bulb is a 501 type

 

Thanks for all the info! I'm glad to hear that I shouldn't have to take the arch liner off...phew. GrittyShaker, I'll give it ago tonight and see how I get on and I'll let you know, it's a very kind offer.

Got sorted thanks, bought some silver finished (flash Amber) 501 w5w bulbs for a few quid off the t'interweb. Fitted in a few mins!
