Evening,

I have only just realised that my S appears to have two slightly differing headlights. I didn't really notice it until a friend pointed it out to me. Seems the drivers headlight is a chromed JDM unit? (Which I will assume is original as it doesn't look as fresh as the passenger one which has a black surround)

How easy is it to remove the chrome surround? I'm hoping its clipped in place and I can remove it as the car looks slightly odd at the moment. At the moment it looks like the S is winking when you walk around it.

 

Chrome are UK spec, all black is JDM.

Don't think you can remove the chrome but you could remove the lense and spray the inside black to match

Ah, I had a browse around the US forums and they were under the impression that the chrome units were a JDM option.

 

No, UK 02 to 04 pre facelift.

 

Black is on UK specs 99-02

 

Useful information there Mr Eagle. I need to get a 2001 Near side headlight. SO I know what no to look out for now

Oh and by the way where can I see more pics of your car? I'm thinking of painting mine white too.
