Default Winter Tyres

Can anyone Help?

I'm off to Austria for the forseeable future at the end of Feb, and as such have a requirement to fit Winter tyres to my S. Does anybody know what the recommended Winter tyres are for the S?

Cheers

Coxy

Or look at the Canadian posts, "Blizzards" are popular.

Just read your post after I replied to your PM Coxy, so didn;t understand the context.

On the continent you will be able to by Bridgestone Blizzaks (these were offered at one point as an option by Honda Japan on S2000s sold there), but not elsewhere AFAIK, and certainly not in the UK.

Blizzaks are used by S2000 owners in North America and get very good write ups from them, as this tyre does on other cars in Europe I believe.

If you can get Blizzaks in the right size for an MY01 I would buy them without hesitation.

(a bag or 2 of sand in the boot to help the grip works wonders also)

Thanks for your help gents.

Will be taking the advice of Euan and getting my Blizzaks when I get down to Austria.

Thanks again.
