When I upgraded my horn a couple of years ago, I simply used the existing wiring, on the standard set up the horn is fed by a single positive wire, with the bolt to the body work acting as the earth/negative.
When I fitted the horn I simply connected the single positive feed to the horn and the earth from the horn wrapped the bar copper wire around the bolt before fixing it to the car... job done!

My horn stopped working when i had it repaired, just found out there is another horn underneath the front bumper, which i am thinking if that has been disconected then this might feed the live to the horn by the battery???

Check out my thread

There are a couple of photos which clearly show there I got a couple of wires back into the cabin from the engine bay by the pedals.
