Default Workshop Manual vs ESM

I know someone who has a copy of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) on CD which he downloaded from a torrent site and I was wondering if it is any different from the Workshop Manual that I see regularly for sale on EBAY (also on CD).

Any views?

If they are different, does anyone know where I could acquire a copy of the Workshop Manual (legally of course)?

Ideally you want the proper ESM, the ebay ones are usually images scanned into .pdf

The Honda one is fully menu'd and searchable.

But don't buy it it's available from a site listed on here, somewhere.

If all else fails PM me and I'll send you a link to my copy. (If I can find it???)

They are the same, but the Electronic one is easier to use, it runs from CD, rather than being pdf's
