This does happen, on fronts I get anything between 15 and 20k

Rears anything between 10 and 15

 

 

I obviously don't drive fast enough! Just replaced my fronts after 18K as the insides were badly worn but still got 3.5mm on the rears.

 

If I get 6000 out of any of mine I think I'm lucky You all must drive on motorways a lot

My rears had done 18k when I changed. The fronts are still on, with a good 3-4mm - the car's now at 22k.

I reckon about 9K miles!

I do change at about 5mm, they go badly off by then.

 

Don't forget that the OEM Bridgestones are 'dual compound', and that over the last few millimetres of life are much harder than when new. So be even more careful on these cold damp mornings if your rears are worn!
