Default Would anyone be interested in a slow meet?

As I mentioned on the Cumbrian meet thread, I've decided to quit meet driving and organising the NE/Jock meet this year. I'm finding the fast driving more and more of a chore these days.

However, we've met some really good friends through the meets we've done in the past 4 years and it would be a shame to stop altogether.

So I was thinking about running a two day meet with the emphasis on nice roads, great scenery, good company, stopping at some good locations and generally taking our time, rather than haring through the countryside at top speed. This meet would be as much a social as a driving event.

Would anyone be interested in such a meet in the NE/North Yorkshire/Borders?

If I get sufficient interest I will organise something.

No, but I like the variety I'm still mid to late 20's mate

Speed is for the track

FWIW I don't think meets have got any faster tbh, it just depends who is organising and who is in attendance.

I don't think they've got faster, I've just got lazier and less into the top speed on the road thing.

As you know, I've never been the fastest driver anyway

It was actually your dad that suggested a slow meet at MM3

Can I trust you to keep it on the road Scott? We should have matching lightweight wheels by then too!
