Shockingly, if a car is Cat C or D then the seller is not legally obliged to advertise it as so. Only if directly questioned, must the legally seller spill the beans.

Ultimately, its the buyers responsibility to carry out all necessary check before handing over even a deposit.

HPi checks have helped me avoid 2 cat D cars and highlight a car that had outstanding finance (wasn't an issue in the end though).

When I looked at that web site yesterday it seemed familer but I couldn't put my finger on it, now I see it the same writing style, and the car against the white wall with the dealership logo behind. The cheesy sound tracked video is new though.

Possibly also worth a tip off to the Volvo XC90 forum if there is such a thing.

They are trading under 1st Xhoice Cars Ltd which is apparently a dissolved company (according to Companies House). Don't know if someone fancies tipping off trading standards.
