2 x complete engine part outs..
So, I have 2 complete engines that I would like to part out..
85k: from a 2003 ap1, great condition, other than the bores, somehow it picked up on a cylinder and developed piston slap, pulled the motor with intension of rebuild then realised it's easier, and faster to purchase another.. everything is there, only the head is not on the bottom end..
104k: out of a 2002 ap1, it's got very very slight scoring on the bores but I think the bottom end has seized (still turns over with a breaker bar) again, everything's there. Just in bits.
Please repost to thread or pm me if anythings needed..

Okay sorry i didn't read ,
the 85k motor, i'm after the prices of the crank, conrods + pistons please. What are the condition of the bearings, and scoring ect? Condition of the piston skirts?
Ive had an oil starvation issue on mine, my crank is heavily scored, alongside my piston skirts aren't the best. So i would need a reground to fix my crank, not something i wish to do as i want to stick with oem bearings.
Thats if the crank is in good nick on it and doesn't need a polish/grind aswell.
Pm me if its easier.
Thanks!
Vince

If I'm honest with you bud, the 85k motor is the worst of the 2 on the bores. But I've only pulled the head off. Engine ran fine just developed a tap on the top end so I stuck a bore scope down it to reveal the damage.
Could see it as a whole if you like? Where are you located??

I'm down the southwest in yeovil, so abit far for me to pop up i'm afraid.
I'm wandering if it was an oil squirter bolt (maybe fitted with an earlier 2 hole bolt?) problem on it to pick up on one of the cylinders?
In which case the crank and journals could be fine.
If you do rip it apart, i would be interested in these items depending on condition.
cheers!
