Default 2004 Indy Yellow Pearl with 4,055 miles from new!

UK Indy Yellow Pearl with 4,055 miles from new for sale for £28,985:

"Highly sought after UK SUPPLIED Honda Mugen S2000 finished in Indy pearlescent yellow. This stands very much in collectors territory having covered a genuine 4055 miles. This S2000 comes with every conceivable upgrade supplied by Honda from new with original bill of sale with all upgrades documented. Complete with hard top, trolley stand and cover. This example stands proud wrapped with the majority of Mugen upgrades that were available in 2004. The car has been stored in a heated garage from new and hasn’t ever seen rain! It comes with great history all original booklets within original leather wallet, all old MOTs, a folder with various other history. The spare key is present, which looks to have never been used, and both keys still have the supplying dealer, alarm CAT 1 Honda key fobs. ORIGINAL unmarked paintwork, as you would expect from such a low mileage, one previous owner vehicle. The under chassis, exterior, cockpit can only be described as like it just left the factory. It still has the new smell and the seats dont look as if they have been sat on. Viewing is essential to appreciate this car. Private plate included in the sale."

Certainly looks fabulous...........and clearly a collector grade a car.

"Mugen equipped"; has the prefacelift exhaust and manifold with stickers... they devalue it imo because its the wrong exhaust and the stickers just cause they're tacky. Along with the yellow valve caps there's rust on the VTEC solenoid and whats that extra wire on the battery for. A recent confirmation of greasing the eccentric bolts and geometry being done along with FSH and definitely no arch rust might command close to that price.

Regardless of whether it's worth the asking price or not... it looks bloody awesome.

The V1 exhaust was made for the prefacelift bumper and the V2 for the facelift so i believe.

its not an OEM exhaust either way. wasnt it one of the dealers who did the Mugen edition?

https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/honda/s2000/15500/mugen-s2000

yeah, southern counties rings a bell

on value its probably the stack up options and no miles which dictates the super unicorn value

if anything, i think for me the exhaust swap devalues it. I would have liked to see it all original.

Bharat, This is not my car, so it wasn't something I was (or am) promoting - hence the reason I didn't post in the 'For Sale' section.

The post was purely to share info about this particular example since I believe it is rather unique, with regards to ownership, mileage and condition, and of course the 'Mugen association' (but I see that this is now debatable), and of course owning a 2007 Indy Yellow with 16K miles from new, I was particularly drawn to this particular example.

Something that works well on other car clubs (and forums) I belong to is a separate section where such posts can be made so that the membership can keep tabs on a) unique cars for sale and b) the current market of such cars. I didn't see such a section/topic, or have I missed something?
