Baffled sump - cracked weld
Got a baffled OEM pan sat in the garage, it's also got a weld on boss welded into the sump for a temperature sensor, which has been drilled and tapped 1/4 NPT.
Unfortunately one/some (can't remember exactly) of the welds have cracked so the baffle welds need grinding and welding over.
Free repair if you can weld. Welds are TIG
Baffle plate is from Trackforge USA
£50 + delivery, no offers as these go for £50 without the baffle and sensor boss.
Thanks
James

No welded another one up.
I used a different larger baffle plate to see if it would make a difference. I haven't pulled the second pan to check yet.
I thought about welding it up fully but desided against it as oil can escape back down through the sides.
On this pan/plate I would just fully weld it as you say as the plate is only small, with a large area for the oil to drain back below.
