Catalytic converter with faults
[SOLD]
I have a stock catalytic converter for sale.
It is broken in 2 aspects. For first one of the substrates is loose inside. The one behind the o2 sensor. Second fault is that the body has a crack next to the catback flange. (3 bolts end)
It is off from a '06 car (DBW). The substrates are nice and clean, you can see through very well. (My car has 75K on the clock so the unit has the same, it had packed up during a track day)
I'd say it's only for somebody who likes exploring and experimenting. I believe it is possible to bring it back to life if you are good with welding.
Comes without heat shields and o2 sensor!
£10 posted within the UK or free to pick up from Poole.

Yes everything looks good. That's why I think it's salvageable. One substrate is moving in the body similar to a piston in a cylinder. I have used the cat like this for about a month before replacing it with a HFC.
