Adrian, I meant to ask about the paintjob on your front calipers, it is by far the best I have seen, how did you do it and what paint did you use?

(I suppose I am excluded from the gold star competition )

Yeah Steven - i think you're excluded Noone is likely to get it anyway - theyre almost 10 years older than me! I think if i'd offered a discount off the car then people might make an effort

The calipers were surface cleaned and air-brushed with the standard pearlescent (mcbp) body paint. (and before anyone asks, no it wont burn off anymore than other paint I have a lot of experience with brakes and calipers, mainly from track prep cars (non-s2k's) and the disks are drilled because I find that it helps them cool a little better and it wont weaken them anymore than not drilling them and overheating them. Disks are cheap - whats the problem - chuck them in the bin & buy a new set. It is a 20 grand car in the end

While Im babbling, the car also has a custom wind deflector, jbl speakers in the doors and a basic sony, single CD player - (cdx-4180 i think).

Adrian

Nothing fancy - just a 25mm rotary wire brush like this one. Stops any change in surface texture that would occur with sandpaper etc & not as drastic as sandblasting.

Looks very nice Adie, I like the cross drilled discs. Do they make a difference?

Sorry M8TT J, I totally forgot to reply to your post.

Yes, the car is still under warranty (confirmed with honda today) and has more than a couple of months left on it - so more than enough time to sponge anything that you need off of honda.

This car looks absolutely mint and only my financial situation has prevented me from buying it.

Someone is going to get a bargain And it's not going to be me
