Thought I'd post on here to give anyone in the market a heads up before I add to Pistonheads etc - car is going for service and MOT on Saturday morning at which point it will be ready to rock. I will also get some proper "for sale" style pics at this point - but for now:


For sale is my 2001 Honda S2000 convertible in Silverstone Silver!

Just ticked over 58k miles
12 Months MOT
Private “S200 O” number plate included in sale
Full Service History (Honda and Indy specialists - TGM and JD Modified) - lots of receipts!
Recent full service including valve adjustments, gearbox oil, clutch fluid and diff oil as well as all the usuals.
Professionally under-sealed when I purchased it 18 months ago - no rust on arches or chassis (a lot of S2000s can suffer from this)
New electric roof fitted with glass rear window
Brake calipers rebuilt
Brand new battery
Spare key and fob
All the usual electrics, air con, xenon lights, ABS, etc all working 100%

Modifications:
K&N Air filter
Buddy club carbon fibre bonnet
Backyard Special lowered seat rail (drops the seat 2” for a better driving position, also benefits taller drivers)
Tein Lowering springs (lowers the car 25mm over standard)
Full Geo set up - no seized alignment bolts! (which is another common problem these can have)
New brake discs and EBC “yellow stuff” pads all round

17" Rota Fighter wheels in satin bronze (brand new £800 wheels with £500+ of fresh Bridgestone Potenza tyres on)
Alpine iPod/USB/CD head unit and upgraded door speakers



Other points to note:
Some hairline cracks in the paint on an area of the front bumper - only visible up close (thanks to a pheasant related incident..).
Small parking dent on nearside rear quarter
Slight wear on seat bolsters, as expected for a car of this age really - nothing horrendous.


This car is in great condition all round and has been well looked after with no expense spared over its life to ensure this is a very well sorted example which needs nothing doing and is ready to be enjoyed over the summer!

I am selling due to needing to free up funds for a new project but I will seriously miss this S2000, best car I’ve ever owned!
