Here we have for sale my much loved Honda S2000. The car was originally registered in 2002 and will come with a 52 registration as the private plate is not included in the sale. I have owned this car for a little over a year now and it has been a joy to own. The car has 35650 miles on the clock however this may increase as I do use it from time to time. I have covered a little over 7000 miles in my ownership and the car has not put a foot wrong. It has just had a full service including gearbox oil and this was completed on the 15/03/2013. The car also has 11 months MOT and this was completed on 02/03/2013 and there were no advisories present. The tax on the car is 5 months and because this is a 2002 car the tax bracket is cheaper. This car has only ever been fueled with 99 ron fuel as recommended by the manufacturer.

The car is in very good condition with only a couple of minor stone chips. There is one dent on the bonnet about the size of a 5p which happened when a small stone fell off the roof due to the birds that nest up there. I have tried to include a picture for you to see however it is very minor. Inside the car is very clean with only a small amount of wear on the driver’s side bolster which is to be expected from an 11 year old car. The only mechanical issue with the car is the clutch release bearing is noisy however this was like that when I purchased the car and has not become any worse during my ownership of the car and so has not been fixed. However these can be noisy for years and years before they actually fail.

The car is completely standard apart from the exhaust which has standard pipes however there have been 2 pipes added to increase the flow of gases out to the back box as seen in the picture. This makes the car sound like I think it should as they are very quiet standard and this just give it that sports car noise. This has quickly become a very common modification to the s2000 and is widely discussed on the forums. There is however no drone at all on the motorway and if you drive normally you wouldn’t even tell the difference however when you to push on it sounds lovely. This however is easily fixed by replacing the exhaust and these can be picked up on eBay for approx £50.
The car comes complete with everything it left the factory with as well as a tonneau cover to cover the soft top when it’s down and sunny. It also has the standard cd player fitted and original tool kit and locking wheel nuts.

I have a full file of paperwork and receipts including the original bill of sale and also a receipt for a new roof that was fitted in 2011. It has FSH most of which is Honda as well as invoices for parts etc that the car has needed over the years.

I fully intended to keep this car forever but due to a change in my circumstances I now have a 50 mile per day commute to work and I do not want to put the miles on what is such a low mileage example.

The car comes with 2 keys and 2 central locking fobs as well as all of the original Honda booklets that would have been given when new. The car will also have at least half a tank of petrol in it for your drive home as there is nothing more annoying than going to buy a car in an area you don’t know and having to find a petrol station as the fuel light is on.

The car has been truly loved and I will miss it a lot but I now need something a bit more sensible for my daily commute.
