FS: Elastic repair for soft top
Having been stunned by the cost of getting one of these from the USA, I decided to have a go at DIY, It worked well and having had some interest from fellow members I'm going to make up kits, for a full description see my thread-
Roof Mechanism Doesn't Fold Correctly, And how to fix it.

Floppy you have PM, and take away round here thats a very small fish and chips.
and Dave thats not the "wrong pole" you obviously have a different problem, I'll have a look later to see if I can see a fix for that one.
