I just would have assumed an open auction would show the current going rate of what someone is willing to pay.

I wasnt degrading his sale here, i just put an offer in, im not complaining and wish him the best of luck in selling it.

And i offered 450, expecting some kind of response of a counter offer. But apparantly it was silly, which is fair enough.
