Thanks for all the advice... 
I've managed to find a temporary home for the exhaust when it comes off next week.
I'll wait to hear if HornyHonda's friend fancies it. Then I'll try E-bay.

The exhaust is now off the car. I hadn't realised how boring the standard exhaust sounds. ..... so I've taken the airbox lid off!
Wish I'd done that when the exhaust was on. That would have sounded incredible.
Anyway open to offers. First come first served. PM me for details.
I've taken some pictures of it which I'll post later this weekend.

I can confirm, my friend is not interested. Good luck with the sale, it looks nice in the pics, probably sounds simular to an invidia by the look at the size of those backboxes (or lack of)
