I suppose in theory you could rig something like that, Chris - you would need to move the Aus AIE further to the left-hand side of the engine back (as you look at it from the front of the car) so that the air it funnels in actually goes in the general direction of the bell of the PRM.

It would be rather Heath Robinson and I'm honestly not sure whether the intervening few inches between where the AIE would end and the PRM would start would mean that any of the nice cool air actually gets to the PRM.

There was a DIY mod on the US boards to feed the PRM with cold air (from one of the false vents and using some flexi-tube) which apparently made a bit of difference, but when you're not moving it still isn't much use.

However, one thing they said to watch was that whatever method you use to get the cold air to the PRM, you shouldn't fix it to the PRM, you need to leave a gap as it's not designed as a ram air thingy and the pressure wouldn't be good for it.

That said, you'll get used to the difference soon enough.

That may very well be the case, Rob - I suppose it just seems worse to me, having come from using an AusS2000 air intake extension, which I had fitted principally to deal with the kangarooing problem.

Anyway, even with this little foible, it's still a mod which I'd recommend

Chears AE. Let's see what interest there is over the next week or so and I will be in contact.

Ah, you must be one of the Essex Argento's?

No mate... Still messin'.
It's coz there was a fella called Argento on "The Negotiator" that happened to be on the other night & the name just popped into my head.
I'm guessing your talking about Argento & your names not Argentina.

Daft question, but as this thread has been moved to the for sale area will it generate any interest??? Less interest surely = higher price.

I'm inclined to agree.
I for one wouldn't have even spotted it if it had been posted here first.
I think I've only been here once before.

You see, the thing is that I wasn't LOOKING for a PRM. Your post just reminded me that I need one.

Never the less. There is a for sale forum. Rules are rules etc.
And IIRC we were given a chance to object when this forum was being discussed.
Mr T?
I suspect that I will check this bit out more often now.
