Maybe selling MY00 Silverstone X plate
Hi all
Silverstone MY00 42K miles
Spoon Manifold
HKS Exhaust
Muz mats
Alpine HU & Changer
JL Amp & Speakers
Spoon Front STB
Eagle F1's all round pretty new
also Spoon lower rear STB and Muz lower front STB (not on the car)
As you all know Engine replaced at 42K with a new one (only 22K on it), new clutch, all done by Honda stealers. FHSH T&T.

selling up after all that hassle, that's a shame What are you moving onto? If you have to split up the extras and the changer is the S634, let me know how much you want for it, I may be interested

Hi mate
Im in a bit of a quandry not syre wether to sell or not, definately not before Le Mans. Not going to split except for the bits that arent in the car already.
If I get a decent offer Ill sell, If not then I will hang onto it.

You mentioned on ebay that you had to pay for the engine rebuild as it was outside the 3 yr warranty. When I had my clutch done inside the warranty, Honda gave me an extra years warranty on the engine - did they not do this for you ?

Hi mate
The extra year is covered by Extended Warranty, this is outsourced by Honda UK to WHA Limited (basically an insurance company) they had a look at the engine and because it had a Spoon ECU claimed that the little end failed due to the ECU. This is not possible I had Barwell Racing (they race Hondas in the TOCA) investigate and write a report, they said that there was no way a little end could shear because of an ECU which was essentially identical to a Honda one. The insurance guys said that they didnt care and Honda UK also said the same! So I had to get her repaired myself, 4k engine and 600 clutch (didnt need doing but I did it anyway) repaired by Chiswick Honda and I have to say the car is running fantastically, the engine I got from a black 2000 which had a rear and side impact, Chiswick did a check for service history and warranty on the car and said that the engine was fine and had been properly serviced, it had only done 20K. Car is fab now as youll notice its not on ebay anymore, got tired of telling the story to plonkers who assumed that there must be something wrong with it. UK car very very careful owner now restored to its former glory with 20K less on the clock.
