I'm remembering what was printed on the lid from about 1 year ago.
Sadly the technical specs were not made available to me.
I didn't get to use it - just give it a home

Pip
You probably want to talk to Tango about his experience with Genny's.

As must as I am loathed to say this...

Buy a Honda.
( As if it breaks - the customer service will be good. Go figure!! )

Lee can fill you in.

Yup, you can buy a Chinese generator which may work, but if it breaks down, forget warrantees. A 6.5kva Honda will not be cheap and you are moving on to the next level in terms of power, you also need to think about what you want to run off it. i.e. sensitive electrical or just plain power tools.

Okay, diesel has the advantage of being able to run of Gas Oil which is £0.65 per litre compare to £1.30 but they are much more heavy, for a 6.5Kva expect around 200kg, for example;

Pramac P6000

I would suggest you stick with Honda due to the fact you will get a 5 year warranty and there are plenty of places to get it serviced, I got mine second hand for £1200 still under warranty from Edge Technology who are very competitive and have excellent after sales service.

As mentioned before I will be up at the JAE so you are still welcome to borrow my generator;

Its output rating is 5.5kva but is capable of unsustained loads of 6.5kva, its also portable and weighs only 95kg. Edge sell these for £2043 here

Squek, if you need any more help, give me a call, I spent over a month faffing about with generators and suppliers, in the process I have made a couple of contacts good and bad.
